This work was created during my residency in Shanghai and originated from a dream. In the dream, I stood in an elevator as a transparent figure, overhearing others whisper about someone who had just left. I became both a witness and ghost. The piece uses ink, light, and film on a turning base to recreate that moment—a carousel of voices, shadows, and identity. Like a revolving lantern, it reflects how people’s impressions shape one’s presence even in absence. Through this quiet movement, I explore how identity, memory, and perception intertwine within the fleeting theatre of everyday life.

This work in display is in the part of exhibition of new work in the residency. As part of the residency, I co-curated a three-person exhibition "Internal Drifting: From Home to the World" , at the Swatch Art Peace Hotel Gallery, Shanghai. The exhibition transformed the gallery space into a living laboratory, presenting newly finished works, fragments, and processes as a dialogue. Each artist contributed distinct perspectives—urban memory, embodied performance, and cross-cultural visual journalism—woven together under the themes of body, space, and history. The show invited audiences to witness the act of making as an evolving narrative, fostering engagement with overlooked memories and migrations. 

这件作品创作于我在上海的驻地期间，起点是一场梦。梦中，我成为一个透明的人，站在电梯里，听见人们低声讨论刚刚离开的人。那一刻，我既在场，又不在场。作品以水墨、光与底片为媒介，通过一个缓慢旋转的装置，将“被看见”与“被谈论”的状态具体化。它像一盏回旋的灯笼，投射出声音与影子的循环，也映照出他人眼中的我与我自身之间的缝隙。

我关心的是：一个人的存在，是否在他人的叙述中被重新定义？在这持续旋转的光影里，身份与记忆被不断擦写、覆盖、再现。作品以极其安静的方式呈现出这种模糊与延宕，让观者在观看的过程中，体会“被命名”与“被消失”的同时发生。

此作品为驻地项目中“新作展”的一部分。作为驻地计划的延伸，我共同策划了三人展《从家到世界，从世界到家》，于上海斯沃琪和平饭店艺术中心展出。展览把空间视为一个开放的实验场，以未完成的作品、片段与过程构成交流的现场。三位艺术家从城市记忆、身体经验与跨文化视觉书写出发，在“身体、空间与历史”的坐标中生成多层的对话。观众在现场看到的，不是结论，而是一种持续中的思考与流动。
